Business Analysis for Project Professionals

Learning outcomes

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Understand the main business analysis skills and disciplines

Understand the tools and techniques for enterprise analysis

Know the different types of Business requirements and how to develop them.

Elicit clear requirements from stakeholders so that all members of the project team can implement and test them.

Ensure requirements are traceable to achieve customer satisfaction and acceptance the first time.

Ensure traceability facilitates requirements’ change management

Assess the quality of requirements developed by others.

Purpose

The Business Analysis for PM’s is designed to formalize the Project Manager’s knowledge and skills in business analysis. This course is based upon both the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

Intended Audience

Suitable for Project Managers, and other Project Stakeholders, who:

Initiate projects,
Are required to act as Business Analysts
Are managing the project requirements collection and analysis

Learning environment

Face to face presentation with hands on practical exercises during the course.
